On January 29, 2019, at about 2:30AM deputies were patrolling the area of N. Strahorn Rd. and E. Miles Ave. and located three males acting suspicious. One male stopped and was detained and the other two males fled and were located shortly after and detained. After completing an investigation deputies learned the males had been burglarizing vehicles from the area of Dakota Ave. and Sunview Ln. to N. Strahorn Rd and E. Miles in the City of Hayden. During the investigation the males admitted entering a least 12 vehicles in the area.
The Sheriff’s Office will be attempting to locate the owners of the recovered stolen property to return it to them.
The three male were identified as Chase Parmer 18 yoa from Hayden, Richard Steele 19 yoa from Hayden and Dylan Riddle 19 yoa from Boise. The three males were subsequently arrested for multiple counts of Burglary, Resisting and Obstructing, Grand Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.
As a reminder the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office asked that you secure your vehicles and remove or secure valuables in your vehicle.
