[ARCHIVED] Celebrating Community Partnerships Event

Sheriff LOGO

Please join us on June 24th, 2023 from 10am to 4pm at the Silver Lake Mall for a fun and educational event to celebrate the partnership between our First Responders from Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement.   Come and learn about how and why we operate the way that we do.  We are proud of the strong local connections between our First Responders and the Citizens we serve.  On hand at the event will be your local Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and local Fire Departments displaying equipment, educating citizens on how and why we us the equipment, and giving you a chance to see, touch, and feel some of the cool things we use. Additionally, our recruiting team will be on site to answer any questions about career opportunities with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.

Our Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit in partnership with local businesses and the Kootenai County Sheriffs Employees Association FOP Lodge #43, will be putting on a free community BBQ.  Sheriff Norris will be on hand to meet citizens, talk about his vision for the future of public safety in Kootenai County, and discuss ways the agency can better serve you.

Please see the attached Flyer here for more information.
