The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team along with local dive shop, Jakes Scuba Adventures, and the City of Coeur d’ Alene Parks Department, is teaming up to clean Tubbs Hill below the surface of the water. The project is due to take place Wednesday, December 8th from 11:00 AM until about 3:00 PM.
The purpose of this project is to remove trash and debris from the water in this heavy use area. Previous similar operations have produced hundreds of pounds of garbage and was done on a smaller scale. The staging area for the event will be the 3rd Street Boat Launch east of the Coeur d’ Alene Resort.
