Sheriff partners with other local Law Enforcement and Fire Chiefs due to Fire Danger

Coeur d’ Alene, ID:  Sheriff Robert B. Norris, with other Chiefs of Police and Kootenai County Fire Chiefs, to hold press conference about local fire danger.  Due to the upcoming 4th of July holiday and present extreme fire dangers, local leaders are reminding local citizens and visitors that aerial and other non-safe and sane fireworks are illegal and are extremely dangerous.   We are encouraging everyone to refrain from their use and are requesting everyone to safely recreate in our community.   

We are asking for assistance in sharing our message in enjoying the festivities in a safe and responsible manner.  Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility and we seek your help in keeping this holiday a safe and enjoyable one.
