Hayden, ID: On December 5th, 2020, at around 1:30 pm several Deputies from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Hayden Walmart located at 550 W. Honeysuckle Ave. in Hayden for a report of a possible theft in progress.
It was reported a male was attempting to leave the store without paying for a shopping cart full of items. Deputies arrived on scene and located two males removing items from the cart into a U-haul van. The two males were identified as Levi J. Dublin, a 20 year old male from Spokane Washington and Tyler R. Pritchard, a 40 year old male from Spokane Washington. During the investigation it was learned there was over $1,200.00 worth of merchandise in the shopping cart. It was also learned that Levi Dublin had felony warrants out of Spokane for theft. A Deputy and his K-9 Partner Bailey searched the U-Haul, as Tyler Pritchard was seen concealing items under the wheel well. Drug paraphernalia was located in the van along with a suitcase containing several hundred dollars’ worth of stolen merchandise. Both males were booked on various drug charges, conspiracy to commit burglary, burglary, burglary tools, and grand theft.
In addition to this theft, the two are suspects from other Walmart thefts from all three local Walmarts as well as Walmarts in Spokane. Post Falls PD was notified about the theft suspects being located and identified.
