Winter Driving

Kootenai County, ID:  As we enter the winter months, drivers are asked to slow down and use caution.  There were several accidents today due to the road conditions and black ice in the shaded areas of the roadway.  With the incoming storm expected to drop anywhere from 1-4 inches of snow in the area the Sheriff’s Office is asking drivers to slow down, extend your following distance and give yourself more time to get to your destination.

The Sheriff’s Office wants everyone to arrive to their destination safely.
