Coeur d’Alene, ID - On Monday, December 23rd, several members of the Central Dispatch Center received the Idaho Public Safety Communications Team of the Year Award. This award was presented to the Dispatchers who were working on July 4th 2019 during the shooting at the City Park in Coeur d’Alene after the fireworks display. The dispatchers were nominated by the Supervisor who was working that night. These dispatchers assisted Law Enforcement and Fire Personnel during this very stressful and active incident.
The Central Dispatch Center is responsible for dispatching all Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical Services for the entire county with the exception of Post Falls Police Department and the Idaho State Police.
